Using the chemical resistance to many acids of polypropylene, combined with a Hastelloy-C driving shaft, the Lutz pump set #3 is an excellent choice for many acid transfer applications. Combined with a powerful Lutz motor (either MI-4 of MAII-3) this drum pump kit offers a significant increase of efficiency in carrying out drum transfers over manual handling, while also increasing operator safety as any chance of coming into direct contact with the pumped fluid is dramatically reduced. With a flow rate of up to 87 litres/minute a 205 litre drum can be emptied in as little as 3 minutes.
Each drum pump kit comes with commonly desired accessories. The Lutz pump kit #4 includes not only a 1000mm or 1200mm drum pump and motor, but also 2 metres of PVC chemical hose, a polypropylene trigger nozzle, and a polypropylene drum pump adaptor to keep your pump supported while inserted in standard drums.
