The ME II range of explosion proof drum pump motors are built to the highest of standards for hazardous area duties. Rated to II G Ex de IIC T5 & T6 classification (with Australian certification) this motor is ideal for use in a wide range of hazardous areas and highly flammable fluids. The ME II series motor retains the double wall build of the MA II series for acid vapour proofing and robust build quality. Additionally a low voltage release switch is fitted as standard across the ME II series to prevent unattended start up in instances of power loss. Available in 460, 575, and 790 watt versions there is an ME II series motor available to suit your application.
Rated to IP54 as standard and upgradeable to IP55 the ME II series motor is built to last. With double pole switching and thermal overloads your operators and investment are kept safe. Double insulation between all live parts, external surface, and connected pump tube ensure static equalisation to prevent any static sparking you can rest assured that your operators are protected to the highest level.
